The backbone of competition for Under 17’s in Scotland is aquathlon which takes the form of competitions in a swim then run format. There is an annual series of aquathlons and all children taking part in this events in this series score ranking points for the club. Fusion have won this title in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 and we intend to defend it in 2015, with your support and involvement! Individuals who are members of triathlonscotland (see below for information) will also score individual ranking points with an athletes best four results counting towards the final series rankings. These events are essential for developing basic fitness, triathlon skills, monitoring progress etc. and are also easy to take part in as they are fairly quick and do not require transport of bikes or closed roads for cycling.
